She is representing Bolivia at Miss Continente Americano 2010.

Lina Mosquera is a Colombian Model and titleholder who currently holds the title of Miss Continente Americano 2009.

On November 17, 2008 Lina competed at the Miss Colombia 2008 pageant representing the department of Chocó. Lina became one of the final five finalists in which she then placed as the 1st Runner-up and obtained the title of Miss Colombia International 2008-2009.

On September 29, 2009 Lina competed at the Miss Continente Americano 2009 pageant representing her country Colombia. Lina became one of the final six finalists in which she then was crowned as the winner, making her the first Colombian woman to win the title of Miss Continente Americano.

On October 30, 2009 Lina competed at the Reina Hispanoamericana 2009 pageant representing her country Colombia. Lina became one of the final seven finalists in which she then placed as the 6th Runner-up and won the award for Best Body.

On November 28, 2009 Lina competed at the Miss International 2009 pageant, when she represented her country Colombia, but did not place.

Adriana Cristina Vasini Sánchez, (born July 30, 1987, in Maracaibo, Venezuela) is a beauty pageant titleholder who won Miss World Venezuela 2010 and Reina Hispanoamericana 2009 titles. She will represent Venezuela in Miss World 2010 in China in October 30, 2010. Vasini, who stands 1.78 m (5’10″) tall, competed in the national beauty pageant Miss Venezuela 2009, on September 24, 2009, and obtained the title of Miss Venezuela Mundo 2010. She represented Zulia state. A notable moment of Miss Venezuela 2009 was during the swimsuit segment when Vasini, in a calculated manner, dropped her wrap and picked it up with her right foot to the delight of the crowd.

Vasini began modeling at age 16 for Maracaibo-based designer Miriam Rodriguez, and later with Douglas Tapia and Mayela Camacho. She studied Medicine at the University of Zulia in Maracaibo and is the daughter of Pilar Sánchez, a former beauty pageant titleholder from Zulia.

She won the Reina Hispanoamericana 2009 pageant (“Hispano-American Queen 2009″) in Santa Cruz, Bolivia on October 29, 2009.

Carla Daiana Conradi is Miss Argentina Mundo 2010.

She is representing Argentina at Miss World 2010 in China in October 30, 2010.

Kamilla Salgado from Pará was crowned Miss Mundo Brasil 2010 (or Miss World Brazil 2010) in the pageant held at the Hotel do Frade in Agra dos Reis.

She is representing Brazil in Miss World 2010 in Sanya, People’s Republic of China on October 30, 2010.

Egni Analia Almirón Eckert, simply known as Egni Eckert, is a model and beauty queen contestant from Paraguay who will represent her country in the Miss World 2010 pageant to be held in Sanya, China.

She will also represent Paraguay in the Miss American Continent 2010 in Guayaquil, Ecuador.

Ana Mercedes Galarza Añazco (born in Ambato, Tungurahua, Ecuador) is a beauty pageant titleholder who competed the Miss Ecuador 2010, and placed first runner-up.

Galarza is a student of Psychology in the Pontificia Universidad Cátolica del Ecuador. She is also the first woman from Tungurahua to be crowned Miss World Ecuador. Miss Ecuador 2010 was broadcast live from CEMEXPO, in Quito. During the she received high scores from the judges in the areas of competition and she was the favorite to win the crown, but Lady Mina from Guayaqil won the national title.

As the first runner-up of the Miss Ecuador 2010 beauty pageant, Galarza has earned the right to represent Ecuador in the Miss World 2010 pageant.

Biography

Born in Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, she is graduated in pedagogy, and works in the Secretaria de Educação de Natal (Secretariat of Education of Natal).

Pageants

Larissa Costa won the Miss Rio Grande do Norte in 2009, representing the city of São Gonçalo do Amarante. She won the Miss Brasil 2009 representing Rio Grande do Norte state. She beat the 1st runner-up, Rayanne Morais, of Minas Gerais state and the 2nd runner-up, Denise Ribeiro, of the Distrito Federal. Larissa Costa’s coronation as Miss Brasil ended her region’s 20 year period without winning the beauty contest, as in 1989, Flávia Cavalcante, from Ceará state, won the contest.

Sandra Vinces, a 18-year old student and model from Portoviejo (Manabi) was crowned Miss Ecuador 2009 at the conclusion of an event televised live from Mantas. Vinces is 1.78 m tall and will represent Ecuador at the Miss Universe 2009 pageant in the Bahamas.
