Dayana Aguilera was crown Miss World 2010 Costa Rica by Angie Alfaro, Miss World Costa Rica 2009 during the beauty pageant held at the Beacon Escazu in San Jose.

She will represent the country at the Miss World 2010 pageant in November.

The event was telecast live through Teletica, organizers of the pageant. Lovely 9 candidates completed for this event.

The 1st runner-ups was Nancy Montero from Heredia and 2nd runner-ups was Natalia Alvarez from Desamparados.

Jessica Umaña will be representing her country in the upcoming Miss Universe 2009, to be held in the Bahamas, on Aug. 23rd 2009.
