Irina Shayk is a Russian model known for her 2007 through 2011 appearances in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. She is the cover model for the 2011 issue.

Shayk started her career relatively late for a model, at the age of 19, when she began modeling in Paris. In 2007 she replaced Ana Beatriz Barros as the face of Intimissimi and in the same year debuted in the annual Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. Since that time, she has appeared in every annual edition, attending photoshoots in such places as St Petersburg, Naples, Grenada and Chile.

After being the image of Intimissimi for three years (six seasons), Shayk was made the official ambassador for the brand in 2010.^[6][10] Her other modeling contracts include Beach Bunny (2009), and Guess spring/summer 2009. Irina Sharipova is a beauty pageant winner who was Miss Tatarstan 2010 and first runner-up in Miss Russia 2010.

At the national contest for “Miss Tatarstan”, Sharipova entered by accident. On a shopping trip, she came to look at the contestants in the qualifying round and was spotted by the organizers, who picked her out of the crowd and persuaded her to enter. With no experience in modeling she was surprised to win on 31 January 2010, but decided to enter “Miss Russia”. Sharipova won the title of the first “Vice-Miss Russia 2010″ in March 2010, winning a grant to study at any university in the world.

Skating career

Early in her career, she skated with Maxim Kachanov. They competed at the 1994 Goodwill Games and placed 5th. She teamed up with Vladimir Fedorov in 1995. They won the Finlandia Trophy twice and competed on the Grand Prix of Figure Skating. The highlight of their partnership was competing at the 1998 World Figure Skating Championships, where they placed 15th. Their partnership ended in 1999 and Semenovich teamed up with Roman Kostomarov for one season. With Kostomarov, she is the 2000 Russian bronze medalist and competed at both the 2000 European Figure Skating Championships and the 2000 World Figure Skating Championships.

Following the end of that partnership, she briefly paired with Denis Samokhin, placing 4th at the 2001 Russian Championships, but was eventually forced to retire due to injury.

Singing career

Anna is currently vying to represent Russia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2009, the contest is hosted in her native country and her city of birth Moscow. Semenovich has earlier released the single “Na Morya” featuring Arash Labaf who is representing Azerbaijan along with Aysel in this years Eurovision.

Olga Kurylenko was born in Berdyansk, Ukrainian SSR (now Ukraine) on November 14, 1979 to a mother of Russian descent and father of Ukrainian descent. When Olga was three years old her parents divorced, leaving her to be raised by her mother. Olga rarely had contact with her father, meeting him for the first time when she was 8 years old, and later again when she was 13. In 2000, Kurylenko married French fashion photographer Cedric Van Mol, but the couple divorced four years later. In 2006 she married American mobile phone accessory entrepreneur Damian Gabriel Neufeld. They divorced in late 2007. Kurylenko has lived in Paris since leaving Ukraine in 1996 to pursue her modeling career.

In 2006, she was selected to be the face of Adidas by Stella McCartney tennis range, designed by noted British fashion designer Stella McCartney. Since the 2006 Australian Open, Kirilenko has played in adidas clothing and footwear designed by Stella McCartney at all upcoming tournaments.

Maria Kirilenko started showing a passion towards tennis at age 5, but it was difficult to get the practice in while she was attending school. Her father enrolled her in a tennis school, and hours of fierce training started to pay off as she won several tournaments.

When Kirilenko was twelve years old, an Honored Master of sports, Elena Brioukhovets, saw her while training. All the next year Elena watched Maria making progress and then offered to work together with her. A three-year program was made and a special team was selected.
