Joey Yung Cho-yee (born June 16, 1980) is a Hong Kong Cantopop singer and actress from Emperor Entertainment Group. She won the “Most Popular Female Singer Award” at the 2003 Jade Solid Gold Awards with her hit song, My Pride, and won the same prize consecutively in the next four years, thus emerging as one of the premier Cantonese singers in Hong Kong.

Yung attended Ma On Shan Lutheran Primary School, and was classmates with Wong Cho-lam when she was in 6th grade.

At the age of 15, Yung participated in many singing contests, including the Big Echo Karaoke Singing Contest, in which she was given the opportunity to be an artist of Go East Entertainment Co. Ltd. However, she did not earn much recognition from Go East, and their contract ended after she recorded the song The First Time I Want to be Drunk, as the theme song for a film.

After that, Yung continued attending school while working as a clerk and helping her mother manage a fashion boutique. She was later introduced to Golden Pony Records Co. Ltd by an ex-colleague in Go East. However, Golden Pony withdrew its business in Hong Kong not long after Yung joined the company, causing her singing career to be terminated once again. A couple of years later, she started taking singing lessons by Roman Tam. In 2009, it was revealed that Yung was a student of Teresa Carpio before she started her singing career.

Fiona Hoi-Kei Sit is a female Cantopop singer and actress from Hong Kong.

She entered the music industry through her uncle’s connections with Warner Music Group, Hong Kong. Impressed by her vocal talent and good looks, Warner Music warmly recruited her as a new rising star of year 2004.

Fiona Sit released her first album F Debut in 2004. It became a best-seller in Hong Kong, being certified gold for sales in excess of 25,000 copies.[2] The album contained the hit ballad “XBF” (short for ex-boyfriend) and another hit “Keanu Reeves’ Reply.”

On 7 January 2005, Warner Music released a single of her named 886. It included songs such as “Pumpkin Wagon” and “886”, which is a short term of Byebye in Cantonese ICQ language. The single was a huge success and it was sold out within 3 weeks.

Shortly after the release of her 886 single, Fiona went on to film her first TV series “The Academy” (學警雄心) as a female police trainee. To match the character’s circumstances, Fiona cut her hair short, as shown in the picture. In contrast to her past success, fans responded atrociously towards this change in her image, and were wary of her future career decisions. In addition to this, Fiona was also featured in a weight loss product tv commercial, where she was required to do a hideous dance routine.

These two incidents led to numerous mockeries by the Hong Kong media, and dramatically decreased her fanbase.

Miriam Yeung Chin-Wah, RN, (born February 3, 1974) is a Hong Kong actress and Cantopop singer. Before entering the entertainment business, she was a registered nurse at the Princess Margaret Hospital in Hong Kong. She studied at the Holy Family Canossian College Kowloon.
